1. Your local library
SiftFrame is made by Kandola LLC, the independent software company behind Arveli and SiftFrame. It has no account service, developer-hosted library, cloud OCR, cloud sync, remote AI processing, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or app telemetry.
Screenshots, recordings, recognized text, notes, tags, file information, search indexes, thumbnails, and caches are processed and stored on your Mac. Apple’s on-device recognition is used to identify visible text. Screen-recording search samples visible video frames; it does not transcribe speech.
Kandola LLC does not receive your capture library for analytics, advertising, or sale. Files may leave your Mac if you choose to share, export, move, or store them in a folder managed by another sync service. That service’s practices then apply.
2. Permissions you choose
SiftFrame requests macOS screen-capture permissions for capture and recording. You choose folders and files through macOS access controls. Watched folders are limited to the locations you authorize, including subfolders when you choose that option.
You can change screen-capture permissions in System Settings and manage watched folders in SiftFrame. Revoking access can stop capture or indexing for the affected material.
3. Originals, exports, and deletion
Indexing and removing library metadata do not, by themselves, delete your original screenshots or recordings. Exports and redacted copies create separate files. Moving an original to Trash is a separate confirmed action.
Resetting SiftFrame removes its local app data and folder connections while preserving original screenshots and recordings. Files you have exported, shared, or stored elsewhere must be managed separately. Backups and cloud-synced folders are governed by your chosen tools and settings.
4. App Store purchases
Apple processes the free download and optional one-time SiftFrame Pro purchase. SiftFrame uses StoreKit to determine local entitlement status. Kandola LLC does not receive payment card details through SiftFrame. Apple’s purchase, account, and privacy terms apply.
5. Support, website, and changes
If you email developksgroup@gmail.com, we receive your address and the material you choose to include. Include the app and macOS versions and a short description. Do not send private screenshots, recordings, or library exports unless you have deliberately prepared a safe example.
Support correspondence may remain in our mailbox while needed for the request and related follow-up. Contact us about access, correction, or deletion of information you sent. We cannot access a local library that you have not shared.
See website privacy for hosting and appearance preferences. The effective date above changes when this policy is updated. The terms of service link to Apple’s standard app license.
