Contact support

Email developksgroup@gmail.com with the app version, iOS version, and a short description of what happened. Please leave out health details you do not want to share.

Support cannot provide medical advice or recover records stored only on your device.

If you need medical help

If any of these apply to you, get help as described. You don’t need to finish anything in this app first.

Get emergency help now

If you notice new weakness or drooping on one side of your face, other signs that could be a stroke, or severe sudden dizziness or spinning, contact your local emergency number now.

Get urgent medical assessment now

If you have sudden new hearing loss, especially over hours or days, or you recently had a significant injury to your head or ear, seek urgent medical assessment immediately. Don’t wait for a routine appointment.

If you might not be safe

If you feel unable to keep yourself safe, or you are thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number now, or call or text a crisis line in your area. If you can, stay with someone you trust while you get help.

Arrange a prompt medical appointment

If your tinnitus pulses or beats in time with your heart, or you have significant ear pain, fluid draining from your ear, or new balance problems, arrange to be seen by a medical professional promptly. If any emergency signs above also apply, follow that guidance first.

Talk with a hearing professional

If tinnitus stays in one ear, or you have ongoing difficulty with hearing or with everyday sounds feeling uncomfortable, consider an assessment with a hearing professional such as an audiologist, or with your doctor. On its own, this is not usually an emergency.

This app provides background sound and self-help information. It does not diagnose tinnitus, assess your hearing, or replace advice from a qualified health professional. Stop using a sound if it causes discomfort.

The app shows the same guidance on its When to get checked page. You can open it from Help & your data → When to get checked on the subscription screen, from the Help menu during setup, or from Settings → About.

Your data

Your records are stored on your iPhone. After you accept the updated agreement, newer versions may include records in iCloud or computer device backups depending on your settings; older versions excluded them. Kept summaries remain excluded and must be shared separately. Previously created backups may retain copies after in-app deletion.

You can view, export, import, and delete your records without a subscription. A few simple settings may be included in device backups. Read the privacy policy for more details.

Subscriptions and billing

Care guidance, support, access to your own data, and the no-sound Rough moment remain available without a subscription. Paid features require an active subscription; the app displays current prices and trial terms.

To cancel or change a plan, open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or use Manage Subscription in the app. To restore a purchase, sign in with the same Apple Account and choose Restore Purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Reminders

Reminders are optional and can be managed in the app’s Settings. If they do not appear, check that iPhone Settings allows notifications for the app and that a Focus is not silencing them.
